Gravatars rock!

Look out for me on your favourite blogs ... you can identify me by the following gravatar:

What's a "gravatar", I hear you ask? Well, it's a little image that you can associate with your email globally across any blog supporting it, which most seem to do, these days. So if you leave a comment and give your email, your "Globally Recognised Avatar", or simply Gravatar, will appear beside your comment. Sign up at www.gravatar.com, it's a free (and brilliant) service.

We'll also be rolling out a small change in the website sometime soon to use gravatars in comments posted, and also in the Most Valued Posters list on the home page. If you don't have a gravatar, a default image will be used instead.

(And before you ask, no that's not David Blaine magically levitating ... it's me doing a star jump on a remote deserted beach somewhere on the west coast of New Zealand's South Island.)
